The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), has made “ZAKATY” service available for individuals “optionally”, allowing them to pay their Zakat through ZAKATY App or the official website (zakaty.gov.sa), using trusted, and secured payment methods, through e-payments channels, in a way that ensures a fast and flexible service execution.
ZATCA spokesperson, Mr. Houmod Alharbi, has explained that ZAKATY service, comes from ZATCA’s commitment into finding a complete Zakat services; which offers individuals the opportunity to perform their Zakat smoothly, and in complete easiness, to deliver directly to deserving beneficiaries, confirming that the total amount of the Zakat received by individuals through the service has benefited those deserving beneficiaries of Zakat, registered for Social Insurance and Empowerment Agency in the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, indicating that the service offers the accessibility to select the deserving beneficiaries of Zakat, most notably, families most in need of housing, divorced families, prisoner’s families, and other deserving beneficiaries.
